Performing Arts Center of The Woodlands is a dance studio where children are nurtured and encouraged in the wonderful world of ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theater.

The Director, Miss Caroline Batson, has a degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Dance from The University of Nevada, Reno. During her professional career she worked with some of the greatest entertainers and dancers in the world (e.g. Debbie Reynolds, Juliet Prowse, Susanne Somers, Joe Tremaine, and Finis Jhung, to name a few). She is a much sought-after teacher with 40 years of experience teaching pointe, ballet technique, jazz, tap, lyrical hip hop and musical theater, and is well known for her choreography for stage, and for her innovative techniques teaching young and old.

Performing Arts Center of The Woodlands has an imaginative room created for the baby ballerina and preschool dancer. Every child is given individual attention, taught proper dance technique and good character building skills. Enjoying dance is the center of the preschool program.

Parents are always welcome to watch their children from the roomy foyer.

For students ages five and older, there is the beautiful Grande Room.

Dance encompasses our whole human experience. We need to walk in community together and help each other raise good citizens. Strong, healthy, happy children make wonderful productive adults. Miss Caroline and her family are dedicated to helping families have fun, appreciate the arts, and discover the best in each other.

We end the school year each May with a costumed performance that showcases your child's hard work and dedication; family and friends are encouraged to attend.
